The book cover design I prepared when I was working at “Salon Couture Books” design office. Hakan Bulgurlu’s book “A Mountain to Climb” is about his experience of reaching the summit of Everest on May 23, 2019 and the message of environmental awareness behind this journey. Bulgurlu draws attention to the devastating effects of climate change, reveals the damage we cause to nature and seeks solutions for the future of humanity. In the cover design, I aimed to reflect the spirit of this journey and the struggle between nature and man.
“Salon Couture Books” tasarım ofisinde çalıştığım dönemde hazırladığım kitap kapağı tasarımı. Hakan Bulgurlu’nun “Tehlikeli Tırmanış” adlı kitabı, 23 Mayıs 2019’da Everest’in zirvesine ulaşma deneyimini ve bu yolculuğun ardındaki çevresel farkındalık mesajını ele alıyor. Bulgurlu, iklim değişikliğinin yıkıcı etkilerine dikkat çekerken, doğaya verdiğimiz zararı gözler önüne seriyor ve insanlığın geleceği için çözümler arıyor. Kapak tasarımında, bu yolculuğun ruhunu ve doğa ile insan arasındaki mücadeleyi yansıtmayı hedefledim.
